11/05 Fall ~ Thursday ~

Some of you might have noticed that I totally missed last week round-up…and some of you might have not taken any notice! Well, I totally forgot all about it – I did remember earlier in the day, but with tons of stuff happening around me, I just totally forgot, and yup, I do get those days and I could of ask Heidi to do it, but didn’t even remember that!! LOL…so here we are again… hmmm wonder if there’s any good stories….

10/22 Fall Thursday

Well, here we are its Fall and expect to get the clocks turn back next week – November 1st 2009, Sunday.  And thank you to those who came to the Blognic 09 at Wannamaker Park, North Charleston, it was a great day, just cool enough to hang out for awhile and chat…Thanks, to Eugene, Chuck, James & Katy, Calvin and Ian and I.

10/15 Hodge Podge Thursday

Here we are again and its going to be a bit of this and a bit of that for this round up.  So, keep up with me if you can and if not, then just take your time as you digest what is or has been happening around the lowcountry! :D  As I write this, my other half is listening to a podcast from the Wall Street…

There is a conference held in Beaufort – Federation of Republican Women convention this coming weekend.

Sabrina is finally All Packed and Ready To Go – as she goes on this cold wintry adventure, go drop by her blog and send her some encouragement as she braves out the Northern cold weather! :) Maybe send some warm weather while she is there!

Also don’t forget that this coming weekend is our BLOGNIC 09 – which is held at Wannamaker Park in North Charleston SC – we will meet at the same place as it was last year, but the playground by the hill slide.  I hope that the weather will be more sunny so that we can all enjoy ourselves and have some fun time with the family!

BarCampCHS is also just coming around and seats are limited!!  From our last meeting we have only a few seats availability left!  So I encourage all of you to register for this exciting day.  I hope that we will see all of you there.

10/08 2nd Week of October

Its the 2nd week of October already and it just seems to go by so quickly!!  This weekend we have a few events that we’ve committed to and the following week will be our 2nd Annual BLOGNIC ’09 – Oct 17th @ Wannamaker Park and the following weekend is our first BarCampCHS.org event and we’re filling up quickly! So, if you’ve not reserved your seat for this, do so now!

10/01 Its OCTOBER!! 10/01/09

WOW its already October and I just vaguely remembered September!! It went so quickly that I’m not really prepared for anything!!  It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month – the whole month of October, so please make sure that you tell your loved ones to check their breast….and support the Breast Cancer research ~ its just not women but men too!

This month is also quite a few things happening for all of us bloggers as well all the “nerdies”  - first off, we are launching BarCampCHS – our first venture and everyone has worked diligently to get this to a wonderful start! So if you’ve not registered, seats are filling up fast, I suggest that you go to BarCampCHS – join us on October 24th @ 8am on Lowcountry Innovation Center (LIC)! – so mark your calendar! 09/10 (Before 9/11) My Turn for the Round… :D

Hello bloggers, I hope everyone had an enjoyable Labor Day weekend; its such a short week, that I am sure many of you are liking it – as it happens it my turn again!  To begin, I would like to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to Matthew, Heidi (many of you know her as @carolinadreamz) son for making the Eagle Scout Court of Honor!  Heidi has been busy preparing a dinner in his honor and I know that all of you will come and show support for her and her family and especially for Matt for receiving this honor.   A date will be posted soon once we all know the details and we hope to see many of you bloggers there!  As she mentioned, if any of you would like to receive a special invitation, please DM Heidi @carolinadreamz :)

Here’s a story that I think some of you already heard – Another Proud Moment for SC from Patrick’s Place; and Franko’s take on the action of  Joe Wilson – my only comment would be that if he’s that passionate about the healthcare reform, why not work with everyone involved and stop shouting/yelling and sending out wrong messages to the people!
