Cinnamon, Spice, and everything nice..
that’s what these LowCountry Blogz are made of..
Fall is “turn back on your oven season.”
I’m not quite ready to give up the peachy scenes of summer, but I am ready for cooler weather..
A Yankee in a Southern Kitchen’s Peach Pound Cake still puts a smile on my face.
I, confess, I’ve never tasted Quince, that I’m aware of… I’ve read about it, in literature. I was thankful to see the picture. I think I’ve seen them, in the store. Helen, of Tartlette, shared Spiced Quince Crumbles, in mini iron skillets!
Bring on apples and pumpkin.. and we are delighted to find:
- Hugging the Coast presenting 20 Pumpkin Recipes, beyond Pie and Bread
- Cottage Industrialist shares Pumpkin Spice Muffins
- Taylorrr, from Lifting Revolution, gets all Apple-icious
- Clara bakes apples
Adding to the lovely baked aroma’s, of fall:
Heather shared Cinnamon Rolls and Versatile Blueberry Muffins (Streusel is not optional. Streusel is Love Crumbs.)
Denise, of Uniquely Tea, offers Autumn Tea Butter, for scones, biscuits, or toast.
I’m off to the kitchen, now, to experiment play with peaches and love crumbs.

Your mouth-watering picture imbedded itself in my subconscious. Coming back from Myrtle Beach Sunday, I pulled into a place that had “pancakes” in its name.
Thee stack was very tasty…but probably not nearly as much as yours would have been.
Thanks!
