Monday, Monday (A Day Late, But That’s Heather’s Fault)
I hope you all had a great weekend! I stole the title for today’s round up from that classic song from The Mamas And The Papas.
“Monday Monday, so good to me “ goes the lyric. A positive way to look at Monday for sure.
Anyway, enough looking back. I like Mondays myself, time to look forward to another week of challenges, and another week of lowcountry happenings!
Read Lee Walton’s take on recent events in his poem De Swimp Mon Chronicles. Perhaps you’ve heard more than enough about the Joe Wilson controversy, but if you want a little more to read, here’s Brad Franko’s observations on it.
Dave Moulton would like to share his thoughts about his future plans for the bike business, and a student at Wando High School is organizing a ride this Friday to show the need for a safe route to school. Check it out at Charleston Moves. Meanwhile there is a suit to stop improvements being made to Harbor View Road
An interesting and absorbing read about The Cooper River Underwater Heritage Trail can be found at Park West Palazzo today.
Working from home for the most part means I simply walk to the kitchen for coffee and lunch. Here’s a great lunch idea from Hugging The Coast.
Yesterday, Joan Perry posted this Church Photo in Lieu of Attendance
Tomorrow, you might care to check out an After Hours Networking Event at Shine on Upper King.
Finally, going back to that Mamas And The Papas song, I hope that “Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be” was for you too.
