October = Blognic time
With October just around the corner, that means pleasantly cooler weather and most importantly, the third annual Blognic! Last year’s blognic was a fun-filled day for the whole family over at Wannamaker County Park in North Charleston, which turned out to be a pretty good place for a picnic. It will be pot-luck as usual and everybody’s invited (you too, Tweeters/FriendFeeders/Denters).
For the date, I’m thinking either the weekend of the 11th or the 18th (although I’m busy on the 11th). I think Wannamaker would be a fine place to have the blognic again, although other family/kid friendly suggestions are welcome. Leave a comment with your date/location suggestions, if you’re coming or not and what you want to bring to share.

A lot of locals are heading to Greensboro for ConvergeSouth the weekend of the 18th, so I must vote for the 11th.

ooo, I’d forgotten CS was going on that weekend. The weekend of the 25th could be another option too.

I have not seen any information lately but on my calendar I had scribbled “ChazFest” for Saturday Oct 25. I’m just saying…

Well, we’d have to convince @willia4 to be outside for a certain length of time, but I’d be fer it. Maybe the 12th? (I think we have a parental visit on the 11th…)

Well, all of my October Saturdays just filled up so I will unilaterally declare October 12 to be Blognic day at Wannamaker Park from 2PM onwards. Seeing as how I was planning on making Wannamaker Park the next stop on my Lowcountry Dog Park tour anyway, I’ll be there anyway with picnic basket in hand and dogs in tow. Feel free to join me!

Well, this will be my first blognic…so am looking forward to it!! This is going to be such fun…we will bring picnic baskets and maybe someone can bring some board games?? Just a thought…so if the date is Oct 12th…am marking in on my calendar…See ya’ll there!! whooopppeeee…
