Storm Buzz
Now that Tropical Storm Hanna and Hurricane Ike have passed by the Lowcountry, the Storm-Buzz widget has been disabled. This was an experimental feature, and based on the popularity of the page, I think it was a great success. We look forward to more experiments in the future with intelligent filtering of our Blogroll firehose. It’s a great way to keep the content fresh when it’s coming out too fast for our puny human brains to keep up! Here is a sample of the posts that came across the wire while the widget was live:
