The Governor
I debated whether or not I wanted to go there, but the overwhelming topic on everybody’s mind is today’s revelations from Governor Sanford. Here’s a sampling of what the local blogosphere has to say:
David notes many of the official statements.
There is a general theme of disappointment, and sympathy for the family. Many think things are going to get worse before they get better.
Earl urges people not to exploit the personal tragedy for political purposes.
Many are more concerned about the abrupt disappearance and use of state funds than with the moral issues.
Firefighter Hourly speculates on the changes that could occur if Sanford were to resign.
Chuck wonders about how long the dishonesty has gone on.
There was also a mock twitter stream, and the requisite pun.
