The Night Before CREATE
Many Lowcountry bloggers will be in Myrtle Beach tomorrow for CREATE South. The program is jam-packed full of a wide range of topics, from cool art tutorials to building community online through new media (and note just how well Lowcountry bloggers are represented!). Eugene’s CREATE checklist is complete and he’s ready to go. I’ve got a look at my discussion.
CREATE isn’t the only game in town as far as tech conferences go. Tofu recently went to POSSCON in Columbia, an open-source developers’ conference.
Swine flu is the latest health scare. Dan cuts through some of the hype over on Xark.
Organizing any group can be a feat in and of itself. Dave passes along a particularly harrowing experience.
Jason’s looking to rock, and you can too, thanks to the latest installment in Free Music Friday.
Nikki was quite impressed with the French cyclist at Cirque de Soleil.
Wherever you are this weekend, I hope it’s excellent. Your weather will be gorgeous and quite warm — we’re knocking on the door of May, so enjoy it while you can before the temperatures just get unbearable.
Jared Smith’s pretty much everywhere these days. He blogs at jaredwsmith.com.
