What Us Non-ConvergeSouth Folks Are Doing Today
As Eugene noted yesterday, lots of Lowcountry Bloggers headed up to ConvergeSouth 2008 this weekend. I wish I was one, but alas my 10-month-old is in severe mommy attachment stage right now, so here I sit at my computer.
First, a few Tweets from today’s sessions from those luckier folks who got to head north to the conference:
From @jaredwsmith: @xarkgirl nails it. Be creative! Don’t be afraid to innovate; no harm, no foul.
From @Cantalyssa: Scoble: In today’s world it’s a big investment to spend 20 minutes watching a video
From @vhanna26: Relaxing at the hotel while @xark, @xarkgirl, @cantalyssa, @jaredwsmith, and @ifroggy go out to dinner with @scobleizer
(Do you hear the jealousy fuming off me right now?
) OK, onto the blogging world today.
Wendy is already behind and the holidays aren’t even close yet!
I’ve got five Christmas projects and one Halloween project to start. Halloween’s in like 2 weeks, right? So far, all I have done is buy the fabric. What the heck am I doing on the computer. If only I could Facebook and quilt at the same time.
Looking for a weird Halloween costume? Uniquely Tea thinks you should consider going as something tea related. Recommendations (and photos) include a tea bag, tea cup, tea cozy or “tea nippy” (not sure what that is). Check out the photos; they’ll give you a good laugh.
With the weather cooling off finally, now is the perfect time to get out and get active. Check out The Weightlifting Revolution for tips on how to choose a personal trainer.
You need to really know your personal goals, what you want to accomplish, and how long you are going to be in it. By knowing these things and interviewing trainers or by looking at their website and seeing what they offer, you can be on your way to that dream body.
To end on a warm fuzzy note, want to see some cute kitties? Visit Kittens on the Keyboard for the misadventures of a couple of frisky felines. Good night!
