Wise Words around the LowCountry
You choose happiness; in simple terms, choose to be happy. You can do that whatever your circumstances; there is always someone worse off than you are.

I think that the biggest help to me has been keeping my emotions in balance and not being afraid to ask for what I need. By getting more in touch with what I feel, the good and the bad, I have gotten in touch with what I need in a relationship with others. It just feels much better to do that than to vent and complain.
Half of the battle of creativity is drilling down to the simple. Sometimes I find that some projects are just too complex. There are times when I just cannot seem to get my brain wrapped around all of the details? Have you ever been there?
I stand in the dark front yard and admire the lighted windows from the outside, the way I’ve often done passing by strangers’ houses in the night. But this time, they shine for me.
So here’s to another season of listening, pausing, and recording. I think i’ll kick it off with a simple commitment to journal once a day for the next seven days. That might mean the blog is quiet. Fear not my heart will be busy writing.
There is nothing wrong with messing up. However, it is leadership negligence to ignore or fail to learn from it. .
But there are always exceptions to the rules, especially when a great opportunity comes up.
